Robin Williams resumes tour, gains HBO special
The last time Robin Williams tried to go on tour he ended up needing open heart surgery instead. Now that he’s recovered, he’s gearing up to start the tour in late September. Not only is he getting ready to tour, he was also recently given an HBO special titled “Robin Williams: Weapons of Self Destruction.”
The comedy-filled special will be filmed during his tour of the same name, beginning in Bloomington, Ind., on Sept. 30. The show is scheduled to premier in December.
